B4HWA has a workshop, known as the B4H WA Bike Shed, located at Unit 1, 7 Elmsfield Road, Midvale. Here we collect donated bicycles, work to repair them and pack them into shipping containers for transportation to NGO partners in Africa or to communities in remote WA.
We always need extra hands. Whether you’re interested in helping out collecting, sorting, repairing or packing bicycles for shipment, or have other skills that could benefit the project – please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. And remember — no experience necessary! Our experienced workshop volunteers are there to help when you need a hand.
The B4H WA Bike Shed is at Unit 1, 7 Elmsfield Road Midland. The old workshop at Jack Williamson Oval has been closed.
Workshop hours:
Weekly: Volunteers are welcome every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 1pm.
The Thursday workshop is set aside for fabrication/metalwork tasks.
B4H WA has arrangements with several organisations that run satellite bike workshops for collections and repairs of bikes that are then delivered to our Midvale workshop for inclusion in shipments.
